National School Bus Safety Week and A°ΌΝΉΚΣơ’s Transportation Employee Appreciation Week are Oct. 17–21.

This year’s theme is β€œStop on Red” to remind motorists not to pass school buses while loading and unloading students. Each year, A°ΌΝΉΚΣΖ΅ transports 22,000 students on more than 400 routes. During the 2015–16 school year, A°ΌΝΉΚΣΖ΅ buses covered more than 6.5 million miles.

A°ΌΝΉΚΣΖ΅ joins school districts and transportation agencies throughout Texas and the nation to recognize the importance of school bus safety. The transportation department will provide refreshments at each bus terminal in appreciation of our 640 team members’ hard work and dedication.
