Background

The A凹凸视频 meal delivery program, provides two meals per day for students at over 70 sites across Austin. A凹凸视频 is currently serving an average of 14,000 student meals per day. The meals provided for students are reimbursable under the federal National School Lunch Program. Meals are provided five days per week with a Friday pack that includes meals for the weekend.

On May 7, Austin City Council passed a resolution authorizing the City Manager to allocate up to $2.2 million emergency dollars through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act for caregiver meals to be delivered through Austin 凹凸视频 and Del Valle 凹凸视频 meal distribution sites.

These funds allow Austin 凹凸视频 to expand the meal program to also serve caregivers, as school districts do not receive funding by the Department of Agriculture for these meals.
