Austin, TX— °¼Í¹ÊÓƵ District (A°¼Í¹ÊÓƵ) Superintendent Meria Carstarphen and A°¼Í¹ÊÓƵ Police Chief Ernesto Riojas will walk with hundreds of children during "International Walk to School Day," on October 5, 2011. This marks the 11th year Safe Kids Austin has partnered with A°¼Í¹ÊÓƵ to build awareness for pedestrian safety and encourage exercise for students.
