AUSTIN, Texas—More than 1,200 band members from Austin °¼Í¹ÊÓƵ's 12 high schools will unite for the 41st annual Marching Band Jamboree.
What: Band Jamboree, featuring the University of Texas Longhorn Band
When: 7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 17
Where: Tony Burger Center, 3200 Jones Road
Background: At the Band Jamboree, A°¼Í¹ÊÓƵ provides students the opportunity to perform together and showcase their talents. The annual performance also serves as the largest fundraiser for fine arts programs in the district.
Admission is $3 and tickets may be purchased at the event or from any A°¼Í¹ÊÓƵ high school band member. Children under 12 can attend free of charge.
